1. Overview

Bili is a mobile application and website operated by Bili Finance, LLC. The App and website include tools that estimate the long-term opportunity cost of spending, analyze transactions with artificial intelligence, and provide conversational financial wellness guidance.

Bili Finance, LLC is a registered investment adviser in multiple U.S. states, including Arizona, California, Texas, Florida, Colorado, and New York. Our Form ADV and additional regulatory disclosures are available at https://heybili.com/adv.

The current version of the App provides spending analysis, educational content, and AI-assisted financial wellness tools. It does not offer securities transactions, brokerage accounts, or investment order execution. References to investing, market returns, or securities are for educational and illustrative purposes unless and until separate brokerage features are made available and you enter into applicable agreements.

These Disclaimers apply to the Bili website (including the free Opportunity Cost calculator), the Bili mobile application, Bili Advisor, AI-generated analysis, and related educational content. They supplement our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, the Terms of Use control.

2. Opportunity Cost calculations

2.1 What Opportunity Cost is intended to show

Opportunity Cost tools in Bili (including the in-app “Worth it?” / Opportunity Cost feature and the calculator on heybili.com) illustrate what a purchase amount could grow into if that money were invested instead and compounded at an assumed annual rate over a chosen time horizon. The purpose is educational: to help you think about spending in long-term terms.

These figures do not mean you should or should not make a purchase. They do not account for your cash-flow needs, emergency savings, debt, tax situation, risk tolerance, time horizon, or other personal circumstances.

2.2 Calculation methodology

Unless otherwise stated in the App or on the page, Opportunity Cost is calculated using a standard future-value formula:

Future value = purchase amount × (1 + assumed annual return)^years

• The website calculator lets you choose a time horizon (typically 1–50 years) and an assumed annual return (typically 5%–12%). The default illustration uses 10% over 30 years.
• In-app calculations similarly apply an assumed rate (often framed against historical long-term U.S. equity / S&P 500 averages) over a selected or default horizon.
• Growth is modeled as annual compounding of a single lump-sum amount. Recurring purchases may be shown as repeated applications of the same simplified model.

The assumed rate is an input for illustration. Historical market averages are not a prediction of future index or investment returns. Actual results will differ—often substantially.

2.3 What Opportunity Cost does not include

Opportunity Cost figures are simplified. Unless a specific screen expressly says otherwise, they generally exclude:

• Investment fees, expense ratios, commissions, and advisory fees
• Taxes (including capital gains, dividends, and tax drag)
• Inflation and changes in purchasing power
• Sequence-of-returns risk, market volatility, and drawdowns
• The difference between price return and total return (dividends reinvested vs. not)
• Timing of contributions, withdrawals, or the actual date you would have invested
• Opportunity cost of not spending (for example, quality of life, time saved, or necessary expenses)
• Credit-card interest, missed debt payments, or liquidity constraints if you invest instead of spending or paying down high-interest debt

Because of these omissions, displayed “future values” can overstate or understate real-world outcomes.

2.4 Past performance; no prediction of future results

Any reference to historical S&P 500 (or other index) performance, long-term market averages, or similar benchmarks is for education only. Indices are unmanaged, are not investments you can buy directly, and do not reflect fees or taxes. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Markets can decline, sometimes for extended periods. You can lose money.

Hypothetical or back-tested illustrations have inherent limitations. They do not reflect actual trading, investor behavior, or the effect of material economic and market factors.

2.5 Not a recommendation

Opportunity Cost output is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, to invest in any particular product (including any S&P 500 ETF), or to skip or make any purchase. It is not personalized investment advice solely by virtue of showing a calculated number next to a spending category or merchant.

3. AI spending analysis

When you link accounts (for example via Plaid) or enter transactions, Bili may use automated systems and third-party artificial intelligence to categorize spending, tag transactions as necessary or unnecessary, detect recurring charges, surface trends, and estimate Opportunity Cost by category.

• Classifications can be wrong. Merchant names, category labels, necessity tags, duplicates, price-change flags, and similar insights are estimates. You should review them and correct tags in the App when they are inaccurate.
• “Unnecessary” is not a moral or legal judgment. It is a product heuristic to prompt reflection. A tagged purchase may be essential for you.
• Analysis depends on the data available. Incomplete bank links, pending transactions, cash spending, shared accounts, refunds, and timing delays can distort totals and trends.
• Not accounting, tax, or audit software. Do not use Bili as your sole record for taxes, bookkeeping, or legal reporting.

You remain responsible for your spending decisions and for verifying that displayed balances, categories, and calculations match your own records.

4. AI Advisor and financial advice

4.1 What the Advisor is

Bili Advisor is a chat-based (and optional voice) interface that can answer questions about your spending, goals, and habits, run Opportunity Cost / “Worth it?” checks, and present widgets based on data in the App. Guidance is intended to help you understand spending and build better habits.

4.2 What the Advisor is not

Unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement for a specific feature, Advisor output does not constitute and should not be construed as:

• A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any specific security or investment product
• Tax, legal, accounting, insurance, or estate-planning advice
• An offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security
• A comprehensive financial plan, fiduciary recommendation for a particular trade, or guarantee of any financial outcome
• Brokerage, custody, or trade execution (those features are not available in the current App)

4.3 Artificial intelligence limitations

The Advisor is powered by third-party artificial intelligence services (including, as described in our Terms, providers such as xAI or Anthropic). When you use the Advisor:

• Your messages and relevant financial context may be transmitted to Bili servers and to AI providers to generate responses.
• Optional voice mode uses your device microphone; audio is streamed to AI providers for conversation. You can disable voice at any time.
• AI can be wrong. Responses may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or “hallucinated” facts or numbers. The model may misread your transactions or invent details that look plausible.
• Do not rely on AI output as the sole basis for financial, investment, tax, or legal decisions.

4.4 Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for evaluating any information in the App or on the website and for making your own financial decisions. You should consult your own qualified financial, tax, legal, or other professional advisers before making significant decisions. Bili does not monitor whether you follow any suggestion shown in the App.

5. Financial Health Score

The Financial Health Score is an educational wellness metric based on factors such as how investments and cash compare to debt, tailored in part to goals you provide. It is designed to be motivational and to change as your data and habits change.

• It is not a credit score, FICO score, or consumer-report score
• It is not used by Bili as a lending decision, underwriting, or credit-eligibility factor
• It is not a guarantee of financial well-being, retirement readiness, or investment success

A higher or lower score does not mean you should take any particular action. Methodology may change as the product evolves.

6. Educational and blog content

Articles, glossary entries, in-app learning content, marketing pages, and the Bili blog are for general education and information. Blog content may be generated in whole or in part using artificial intelligence and is not personalized to you.

7. No guarantees; limitation of liability

We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of calculations, categorizations, scores, market commentary, or AI-generated output. Market conditions are unpredictable. Models in the App and on the website are educational simplifications.

The App and website are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bili Finance, LLC shall not be liable for investment losses, missed gains, or other damages arising from reliance on Opportunity Cost figures, AI analysis, or Advisor responses.
